Brand & Journal Design for a New Travel Company
A daily journal meant for long-term and short-term travelers so they can remember all of their adventures
THE PROJECT
Remember Your Travels helps travelers record their memories so they can walk back down memory lane and remember all the good times that changed their life. Remember Your Travels launched its first product, My Travel Journal, in 2022. Before the launch, I worked alongside its founders to design the journal, a logo for the new brand, a color palette, and graphics to promote the journal. This was the first edition of the journal with an updated version released in early 2023.

BRANDING
Branding To Fit Their Traveling Audience
Remember Your Travels’ audience is made up of long-term travelers and backpackers. They like reliable, honest brands with an appreciation for the simple things in life. Knowing this, I wanted to create a logo that reflected those values and was straightforward in communicating who they were. This led me to choose a bold sans serif typeface for the wordmark, and the line under “Your” was added to emphasize the personal nature of their brand, putting the focus on the consumer rather than the brand.
KIND WORDS
"Bradlee always gets my vision and helps it come to life! She is truly a delight to work with. I love working with designers who just 'get' my vision without having to over explain, and she's always been able to do that. Always a lovely experience!"

PRINT DESIGN
Journals For Long-Term Travelers
In order to launch the presale, the founders asked for product mockups to promote the journals. The mockups showcase the cover, varying colors, and inside pages along with descriptions of what was inside. Using these, I also created social media graphics.
REDESIGN
Mishap Turned Opportunity
For My Travel Journal, I completed the design for the 384 page journal, which was meant to accompany travelers on their long-term trips. However, after the first edition printed, the founders realized the journal was too large for what they wanted. So we cut the book in half, adjusted the layout, and relaunched a few months later with four colors to choose from instead of only black.
