Ongoing Graphic Design for Author & Blogger
From Instagram graphics to designing a new travel ebook, I worked with Nomadic Matt for 3+ years to build out his brand and expand his offering.
THE PROJECT
Nomadic Matt is a well-known travel blog that educates and inspires 700k+ visitors every month with the goal of helping people travel smarter and cheaper. The founder and face of the brand, Matt, is the New York Times best-selling author of “How to Travel the World on $50 a Day.” When we began working together in 2020, Instagram carousel graphics were the priority, but as time went on I became his designer for all creative needs concerning social media, the website, and beyond.

SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS
Repurposing Blogs Into Social Media Graphics
One of the primary projects we worked on throughout our 3-year partnership were social media graphics. To direct traffic to his website, I created carousel graphics with a shortened version of a blog post. This helped repurpose content and provide educational, share-worthy content for his followers.
Instagram stories graphics were created to promote new blog posts, blogging and writing courses, and direct users to sign up for his email newsletter with 300k+ subscribers.
KIND WORDS
"Bradlee worked for us for 3 years and really helped us develop our graphic style. I'd recommend her to anyone. She was great at communication, staying on schedule, and coming up with ideas. She created logos, social media graphics, PDFs, and everything in between."

Guidebooks That Equipped Travelers While Driving Traffic And Increasing Sales
In addition to the blog, Nomadic Matt has a variety of e-guides that help his audience travel cheaper and smarter. Not only did I revamp his old e-guides so readers could better understand and navigate the content, but I also designed a 70+ page guidebook about road tripping across the United States. The majority of his e-guides are available to purchase, but there were a few used as freebies to direct traffic to his website and/or to sign up for his newsletter.

Neighborhood Maps for
City Guides
City Guides
Although there were many graphics created during our partnership, the most intricate was for his blog posts detailing neighborhoods in 5 major cities. These maps were created as a visual aid so readers could see the neighborhoods he recommended and use this map while planning their trips. These branded maps were created using a combination of Google Earth, Google Maps, and of course, Adobe.
